DISCIPLINE INFORMATION

GENERAL

Please note there are several sections in this discipline – Solo (Age under 13), Classical Solo, Non-Classical solo and Ensembles (2-4 voices)

• Classical style includes pieces such as arias, oratorio or opera, or classical songs in any language to be presented in classical style. It is also about voice production – Bel Canto style is the generally accepted term.

• Non-classical can include include ballads, folk, jazz.
